Pepito Cleaner uses RegEx for every search that you have seen so far (General Find, Hyphens, Warning, Headers). Besides those already implemented but you can create new ones to add new features or modify existing ones to make searches more suited to your purposes.

In the list box, located in the top of the dialog PepitoCleaner in Section 'Edit Regular Expressions', you can select which you want to change RegEx. RegEx are divided into four groups 'General', 'Hyphens', 'Warning' and 'Headers' that correspond to the four sections of the same name. For example, if sometimes create or edit a RegEx to 'General Find' you have to do is select in the list box at the top 'General RegEx List'. Once the group is selected the list of RegEx that compose it will be listed in the central area. Each RegEx will be listed with a check mark, if it is 'activated', and the title. In the example you can see that the first line is '✔ Line start with Smallcase'. Once selected, an icon will appear in the lower window of the extension icons that allow operations on RegEx selected. These icons are:

This button allows you to 'activate' the RegEx. RegEx activated will be searched and displayed in the corresponding section of the search.


This button will allow you to 'turn off' the RegEx. RegEx not be disabled nor sought nor appear in the corresponding section of the search. In general, it is best to 'turn off' a RegEx instead of deleting it because, while disabling it you can always reactivate it at a later time, erasing the lose.
